How to Use Slybroadcast to Reach More Leads (Without Ringing a Single Phone)

Here’s your step-by-step guide to getting up and running.
Step 1: Get Your Lists in Order First
Before you even log into Slybroadcast, the single biggest factor in your campaign’s success is who you’re calling. Garbage lists get garbage results, while great lists turn a simple voicemail drop into a pipeline full of live leads. We recommend starting with these three sources, all available through our vendor partners:

- RPR (Realtors Property Resource): Most agents already have free access through their MLS or Association, making it an easy, no-cost source of property and owner data.

Step 2: Log In and Record Your Message
Once your list is ready, log in to your Slybroadcast account with your email and password.
Head to the Manage Audio section and either:
- Use the Slybroadcast Recording Center to record your message over the phone using their access number, or
- Upload your own audio file directly.
Files must be saved as .WAV, .MP3, or .M4A and under 10MB.
Important: If you plan to use AI Voicemail Personalization (more on that below), do not start your message with a greeting like “Hello” or “Hi there.” The personalization feature handles that automatically so it sounds natural.
If you’ve already recorded or uploaded a message, you can skip ahead to Step 4.
Step 3: Create a Voice Model for Personalization
This is where Slybroadcast’s AI Voicemail Personalization really shines, letting the system insert each recipient’s name into your message in your own voice, so every drop feels one-to-one instead of mass-blasted.
To set it up:
- Go to Manage Voices and click Create a New Voice Recording.
- Either upload a 30 to 60 second sample of your voice, or read the provided script and record it right in your browser.
- This trains the system to replicate your voice for personalized name insertions.
Same file rules apply: .WAV, .MP3, or .M4A, under 10MB.
Step 4: Build Your Recipient List
Now bring in the list you built in Step 1.
- Go to Manage List and click Create a Recipient List.
- Name your list.
- Choose your Voicemail Customization voice from the dropdown (or select “No Voicemail Customization” if you’re skipping personalization).
- Paste your phone numbers directly into the box. Dashes and special characters are fine.
- Or upload a list: phone numbers in the first column, first names in the second, saved as a comma-delimited (.CSV) or tab-delimited (.TXT) file.
Step 5: Launch Your Campaign
Time to send. Click the green New Campaign button in the upper right corner.
- Enter a campaign name.
- Set your Caller ID, which is the number that will appear as the missed call in the recipient’s voicemail box, so make it one prospects will recognize or feel comfortable calling back.
That’s it. Your voicemail is on its way to every contact on your list, and you’re never charged for messages that can’t be delivered.
Step 6: Add Follow-Up Texting to Multiply Your Response Rate
If you’ve purchased a Callback Number, turn on Follow-up Texting for your next campaign. As soon as your voicemail lands, an automated text goes out right behind it, giving recipients a quick, low-friction way to respond, click a link, confirm an appointment, or ask for more information. Step 7: Let Callback Analytics Guide Your Next Move
