There is nothing we love more than seeing real estate agents getting creative in how they connect with homeowners! With thousands of fun opportunities throughout the year, we’re just in time for “Back to School”, and the plethora of upcoming holidays. This is also one of the best times for SMILE stops because it’s the final push to make this year our best year ever.
What Are SMILE Stops™?
It’s pretty self-explanatory, but there is a secret that we want to share, too! Not only are Smile Stops something you can use to make your clients smile, but “Smile” is actually an acronym!
S: Service (focus on service not selling)
M: Meet face-to-face
l: Invite them to share their needs by asking questions
L: Leave behind a token of gratitude
E: Elevate the relationship
The premise of these stops is to use fun little gifts or treats as a method of thanking your past clients for their business; complete with your name and number so they can call anytime they have questions, and particularly so yours is the name in front of them when they decide to list!

How to Use SMILE Stops™
SMILE Stops are a ton of fun for everyone and a great way to pop in to visit a client to check in and show your gratitude. After all, without them, you wouldn’t be where you are today!
Take a look at the National Holiday Calendar to give you some fun ideas that you can capitalize on!
Here are Some Examples!
- National Popcorn Day. Gifting a little box of popcorn with a note that reads, “Just POPPING by to say thanks for being a great client!”
- National Ice Cream Day by handing out little ice cream scoops and a note: “If you want the SCOOP on real estate, give me a call!”
- Summer package of Swedish Fish gummies and a note: “It’s o-FISH-ally summer! I’m HOOKED on happy clients and referrals, so if you need anything, give me a call!”
